INTRODUCTION

Thank you for evaluating our software product.  This
program is actively being maintained. If you
discover a problem, however small, please let us know
so that we can fix it. If you send us an emal message,
we will advise you, if and by when the error can be fixed,
or whether it has already been fixed in the latest version.
Upon registration, a master diskette with the latest
software will be supplied.

MANUAL, USER GUIDE

If your registered version of the software includes a
print file of the User Guide (and no printed hard copy),
you can print the manual on any Windows compatible printer.


INSTALLATION AND SETUP

1.  Start Windows.
2.  Open the Program Manager.
3.  From the File menu, choose Run.
4.  In the Command Line type one of the following:
    -  If the software is on a diskette, type A:\SETUP
       (assuming your floppy drive is A:).
    -  If the extracted software is on the hard disk,
        type C:\DIRECTORY\SETUP (where DIRECTORY is
        the actual directory that holds the software
        files).
5.  Choose OK.
6.  Follow the prompts.



IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING THE VBRUN300.DLL

This program requires the VBRUN300.DLL file. If you
do not already have this file in your Windows\System
directory, obtain a free copy of the file from your
online service, BBS or distributor.


OLE FILES FOR WORD SPELLER

If you use the MS Word spellchecker, the following files
should exist in the Windows\System directory:

COMPOBJ.DLL, MSOLE2.VBX, MSOLEVBX.DLL, OLE2.REG, OLE2.DLL,
OLE2CONV.DLL, OLE2DISP.DLL, OLE2NLS.DLL, OLE2PROX.DLL,
STORAGE.DLL,VBOA300.DLL.  Most of these file will already
be on your machine.  If the files are missing, copy
them from the registered software diskette, or contact
Informatik Inc.

You also need to make sure that the OLE 2.0 is registered
on your machine and that the SHARE.EXE is installed in
your AUTOEXEC.BAT file (the SHARE.EXE is not required if
you use Windows for Workgroups).  The OLE 2.0 is registered
with the following command line: REGEDIT /S OLE2.REG.


REGISTRATION

This is a shareware product.  You may evaluate it for 30 days.
If you like the product after the 30-day evaluation period,
and you continue to use it, please register and pay the
registration fee.

The registration fee for the Standard Version is $20.00.
The registration fee for WebPen PRO is U.S. $40.00. The PRO
version also includes WebPen Webset, consisting of

   - FrameTool, a WYSIWYG frame maker,
   - GifWeb transparent GIF background tool, and
   - WinCopyscreen capture program.

If you require diskettes, a handling fee of $4.00 will be charged.

Registered users will receive an enabling Registration Code
by email or by regular mail.  Registered users will receive
support and are entitled to free software upgrades during the
first year.

To register, please choose 'Registration, Copyright' from the
applications' About menu.  Click on the 'Print Registration Form'
button.  Fill in the Registration Form and return it to Informatik Inc.
together with your check or credit card information.

If you have a Visa, MasterCard or American Express card, you can
register by calling us at 610.640.0339.  For the current fax number,
please inquire at [e-mail].

We also accept purchase order from substantial corporations, from
Government Departments and educational institutions.

Our Fed ID# is 23-2753372.


The registration fees are payable in US dollars.  If you wish to pay
in Canadian Dollars, please convert the fees, plus $3.00 bank charges,
to Canadian Dollars at the current exchange rate.  We also accept checks
in other convertible currencies at the US dollar equivalent, but $7.00 must
be added for bank charges.  If you cannot obtain convertible currencies,
please contact Informatik Inc. at [e-mail].

LIMITED WARRANTY

The physical diskette and documentation of this software product is
warranted to be free of defects of materials and workmanship for a
period of 30 days from the date of receipt.  If you notify us of
such a defect within the warranty period, Informnatik Inc will
replace the defective materials at no cost to you.

THIS SOFTWARE AND MANUAL ARE SOLD "AS IS". TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT
PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, INFORMATIK INC. DISCLAIMS ALL
WARRANTIES RELATING TO THIS SOFTWARE, WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED,
INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF
MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.  NEITHER
INFORMATIK INC. NOR ANYONE ELSE WHO HAS BEEN INVOLVED IN THE
CREATION, PRODUCTION, OR DELIVERY OF THIS SOFTWARE SHALL BE
LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES
ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE SUCH SOFTWARE, EVEN
IF INFORMATIK INC. HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH
DAMAGES OR CLAIMS.  IN NO EVENT SHALL INFORMATIK INC.'S
LIABILITY FOR ANY DAMAGES EVER EXCEED THE PRICE PAID FOR THE
LICENSE TO USE THE SOFTWARE, REGARDLESS OF THE FORM OF THE CLAIM.
THE PERSON USING THE SOFTWARE BEARS ALL RISK AS TO THE QUALITY
AND PERFORMANCE OF THE SOFTWARE.

This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of
Pennsylvania and shall inure to the benefit of Informatik Inc
and any successors, administrators, heirs and assigns.  Any
action or proceeding brought by either party against the other
arising out of or related to this agreement shall be brought
only in a STATE or FEDERAL COURT of competent jurisdiction
located in Chester County, Pennsylvania.  The parties hereby
consent to in personam jurisdiction of said courts.


LICENSE

The supplied software and documentation are copyrighted products of
Informatik Inc.  All rights are reserved, and the use of the software
is expressly prohibited, except as authorized by the terms of this
agreement.

Informatik Inc. authorizes you to make archival copies of this
software for the sole purpose of back-up and protecting your investment
from loss.  Under no circumstances may you copy this software or
documentation for the purpose of distribution to others.  Under no
circumstances may you remove the copyright notices made part of the
software or documentation.

The supplied software may be used by one person on as many computer
systems as that person uses.  We expect that group programming projects
making use of this software will purchase a copy of the software and
documentation for each member of the group.  Contact Informatik Inc.
for volume discounts and site licensing arrangements.

Copying (except as above), duplicating, selling, renting, transferring,
or otherwise distributing this product is a violation of the law.
Installation of the program indicates acceptance of this agreement.  If
the terms of this agreement are unacceptable, or you are dissatisfied
with the product for any reason, you may return all the original
materials to Informatik Inc. within 30 days for a refund.

information about payment options, such as credit
